Carmen Pombo Born in Madrid, Spain   Born in Madrid, Carmen graduated in fine arts at the Complutense University in Madrid, Bachelor of Fine Arts at the international Arts University in Miami. Carmen Pombo’s works are reflections of different languages to express the same emotion…the same mystery…because she believes that one does not paint the reality that we know but the one we need. In all her exhibitions, the main theme that prevails is the Door, a door that works as a symbol. They are abstract art pieces, not figurative, that try to involve the viewer on his own imaginary and symbolic world. Physically, a door does not appear as one. It is substituted with a color stroke that marks the entrance space to an interior area.
