Jaume Garcia Antón Born in Valencia, Spain   Born in Valencia, Spain in 1948, Jaume Garcia Antón has felt, since his childhood, an intense attraction to paint despite a surprising degree in Industrial Engineering. In his youth, Antón was interested in the Pop movement: Warhol, Lichtenstein, Hamilton and, above all, the Valencia striker "Equipo Crónica. In the second part of the 70s, he held several solo and group exhibitions. Antón is a member of the Field of Research of the Miró Foundation, he supported the establishment of the Associació d'Artistes Plàstics de Catalunya, participated in" The Painted Sheds at Sants. A few years later, he gradually became detached from pop art, shifting to a more expressionist style. He developed a new way of expression, more abstract and more synthetic, with a trend towards practicality.
