SYRCA: Syrian Contemporary Art March 15 - 31, 2008     The Courtyard Gallery & Café presented Syrca: Syrian Contemporary Art for three Prominent Syrian artists Mustafa Ali, Amal Mulhem and Nazir Ismail. Mr. Mohammed Al Murr Chairman of the Dubai Cultural Council inaugurated the exhibition. Inspired by the memory of old civilizations in Palmyra and Phoenicia, Mustafa expresses his philosophical thoughts on humanity's endless problems through joining wood and bronze, in a surrealist dramatic way. In Amal's Paintings one feels the deep emotions revealed by the movement of the Individuals living in her paintings.
