Art Coalition for Peace March 16 - 20, 2003   For the first time in the Middle East, the Courtyard Gallery & Café held an exhibition echoing the anti-war demonstrations that swept the world in February 2003.  Peace slogans used in these protests were showcased in modern art forms in a thought-provoking show that offered an artistic reading to these iconic moments.  Ali Khadra, founder of the Contemporary Eye on Dubai Association and organizer of the event, displayed some of his works alongside other Dubai-based artists.  The exhibition, held in support of world peace, allocated 20% of its proceeds to an orphan’s fund.           Courtyard Gallery all rights reserved. privacy policy
