European Fine Arts April 22 - 31, 2001     Under the patronage of Mr. Mohammed Al Abbar, Director General of the Department of Economic Development. The Courtyard Gallery & Carlton Gallery (France) hosted “The European Fine Arts Exhibitions”. Art lovers in Dubai had the rare opportunity to view masterpieces by Renoir, Salvador Dali, Camille Hilaire, Louis Toffoli, and Bernard Buffet. Collectively displayed for the first time were classic works by over fifty major European artists exceeding eighty original paintings and twenty sculptures. The show was inspired by prestigious collective exhibitions held worldwide since the late sixties, an outstanding example being “Retrospective P.A Renior” where over forty pieces of drawings, watercolors, and oil paintings were displayed.
