Women in Art || November 8 - 18, 2006   The Courtyard Gallery & Café and Art Connection continue their joint efforts once again in promoting female artists residing in the UAE. The “Women in Art II” exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Hoda Kanoo founder of the Abu Dhabi Music & Art Foundation. The exhibition was a fresh approach that portrays the freedom of artistic expression and the coexistence of cultures in our society, featuring the works of 17 diverse female artists from the UAE, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, France, Sweden, India, Russia and England. The first show of “Women in Art” was hosted in November 2004 with 20 artists from different countries.
