Women in Art V October 6 - November 9, 2009   Once again the Courtyard Gallery Café and Art Connection presented Women in Art exhibition. A celebration of female creativity, "Women in Art V" unites artists from different corners of the globe. Its wide array of female talent from a blend of cultures is characteristic of the social make-up of Dubai itself. The exhibition presented 16 artists from France, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and UAE. The theme dates back to 2004 when the first "Women in Art" was held with 20 participants from 10 different countries. The second exhibition took place in 2006 with 17 participants from 9 countries. The third exhibition took place in 2007 with 12 participations from 7 countries.
